Cleric urges Nigerian youths to acquire global market skills

The Convener of Mass Movement, Tolulope Toluwase, has advised Nigerian youths to get the needed skills to function in the global market.

“With the situation of the country, I urge everyone here, particularly youths to learn the necessary skills and get needed certifications to be able to compete in this ever-changing, technology-driven 21st century to stay afloat,” he said.

According to a statement made available to our correspondent on Friday, Toluwase gave the advise at the 11th annual global worship and revival crusade, tagged -MASSREVIVALFEST held at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan, Oyo State last Friday.

The cleric empathised with Nigerians, particularly the youth over the state of the economy .

He added, “The nation is going through several challenges ranging from insecurity, rising cost of living and host of others, making life unbearable for ordinary Nigerians.

“We urge the government at all levels, particularly the Federal Government to rise to the occasion and salvage the situation to ensure Nigeria flourish as willed by the Almighty.”


The event saw the gathering of youths and young adults from across South-West Nigeria.

The night unfolded with intense worship led by different ministers such as Fola Eden, BBO, and Ife Nath, followed by high-intensity praise from veteran gospel artistes including Ernieola, GospelForce, Lilian Nneji and GaiseBaba.
