INEC TRANSMITTED the results – it only failed to UPLOAD them in real time (there is a computational as well as a legal difference between the two) because Peter Obi’s unhinged and Atiku’s twisted supporters were trying to hack its servers.
What is germane is whether or not failure to upload them materially alters them.
It was, of course, for Obi and Atiku to prove that.
They did not even bother to attempt to do anything of the sort but rather preferred to place reliance on utter nonsensicalities such as forfeiture (civil forfeiture, vide an action in rem that is 30 years plus old in another country entirely), double nomination and similar absurdities.
But the real problem with Obidients is their stupefying addiction to playing the ostrich and studiously ignoring the raging bull elephant in the room.
Peter Obi lost because Atiku split his votes and vice versa, indeed it is Atiku that should be blamed for Obi’s loss (after all to be fair to Obi, it wasn’t for him to step down for Atiku but for Atiku to step down for him, since it was the turn of the South to produce a President for the country, after all).
But because some people have become hostage to an incurable hatred for the Yoruba, they can’t help blaming Atiku’s malfeasance on a Yoruba man called Bola Tinubu.
That is the real gist of the Obidient insanity – just tribalism on steroids.
