RE – “Coalition 2020” adopted Agboola Ajayi

The attention of the Coalition 2020 has been drawn to a “jester” like a news item sponsored by one Bamiduro Dada where in he and his ilks impersonated our revered “Coalition 2020”.

The news item sponsored via social media and traditional medium, saying “Coalition 2020” has adopted another candidate for tomorrow’s election other than the Incumbent Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

We wouldn’t have joined issue with them, but if we keep mute on the devilish act of this people, innocent masses of the state might be confused and the “jester” like a news item may get undue traction.

We want to place on record that Coalition 2020 at Solton Hotel, Ijapo, in Akure the state capital through a mock election conducted, on September 15, 2020, in which Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 163 votes, Agboola Ajayi of Zenith Labour Party garnered 89 votes, Eyitayo Jegede of Peoples Democratic Party , (PDP)scored 67 votes, while Prince Dapo Adelegan of Action Democratic Congress (ADC) also scored six votes.

It is on record that, Pharmacist Bamiduro Dada was not only attended the mock election, he was visibly on ground to the extent that he Bamiduro Dada snatched the ballot box at the venue of the election.

It took the grace of the ever alerted security men on duty to arrest the ugly scene created by a supposed elder statesman. He was arrested and detained by the Ijapo police division for snatching ballot box.

We are assuring our people that “Coalition 2020” remain united and resolute with our adopted candidate, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

Signed
