NRM disowns membership registration scam
The National Rescue Movement, on Thursday, distanced itself from the viral online registration of members into the party for a fee.
Its National Chairman, Isaac Udeh, made the clarification in a rebuttal issued in Abuja.
Udeh lamented that the scam was allegedly being championed by a certain person and his cohorts.
The viral post sighted by our correspondent partly read, “Please find below the registration link to register to become a member of NRM. The registration and membership card fee is N500, while the monthly dues are N500 per month.
“You are required to pay for your membership card, registration and three months subscription into this account: Concerned Stakeholders Forum, Fidelity Bank 5700143250.
