JUST IN: Fire guts AP Plaza in Abuja

Massive fire engulfed the popular AP Plaza in Wuse 2, Abuja on Saturday, causing serious damages to properties and raising safety concerns among residents and business owners in the area.

The inferno reportedly started around noon, sending smoke into the sky and drawing the attention of onlookers who watched helplessly as the flames spread.

At the time of filing this report, the actual cause of the fire remains sketchy though investigations are expected to be underway.
