RCCG fed me, 3,000 inmates every Sunday – Seun Egbegbe

Filmmaker, Olajide Kareem popularly known as Seun Egbegbe, has opened up about his experiences in prison. 

Recall that Egbegbe spent six years and eight months over his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities.

In an interview with Biola Bayo, Egbegbe acknowledged his past mistakes but emphasized that he had never taken a life. 

Egbegbe also expressed his deep gratitude to the Redeemed Christian Church of God for their unwavering support, adding that they provided food for him and over 3,000 fellow inmates every Sunday during his incarceration.

“I have done a lot of dirty things in the past but I have never k!lled someone. Famous people were brought to the cell where I was, including ex-Governor Fayose, former INEC chairman, Mompha, etc. In 2020, during COVID, we didn’t appear in court throughout the year. I will advise everyone to flee from cr!me. The Redeemed Church really tried for us in prison. Throughout my stay there, they brought jollof rice, two meat, and bottled water each every Sunday for over 3000 inmates”, he said.
