DNC: Trump’ll sell this country for a dollar – New York congresswoman
A New York congresswoman, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, has taken a swipe at the Republican candidate in the 2024 United States election, Donald Trump, at the ongoing Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Ocasio-Cortez, one of the many speakers who have thrown their weight behind Vice President Kamala Harris at the DNC on Tuesday morning, said, “I am here tonight because America has before us a rare and precious opportunity in Kamala Harris. We have a chance to elect a president who is for the middle class because she is from the middle class.
“We all know that Donald Trump would sell this country for a dollar if it meant lining his own pockets and greasing the palms of his Wall Street friends.
