Tomorrow, Sunday, July 28 will herald the ninth edition of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBN).

According to the organisers, the 2024 BBNaij promises to be even bigger and better than ever before with several exciting twists and turns.

Some of the highlights to look out for as the show kicks off with a grand entry on Sunday at 7 pm will be the house, voting power, the housemates, and many more.

As expected, the Big Brother Naija house is always something to watch out for. Since the theme revolves around partners – double housemates bound by one ticket and opportunity – the house would not be lacking its incredible look and feel. In the house will be the Head of House lounge and Saturday party venue.

The logo of Season Nine aptly hints at the plan to have two housemates play as a pair for this season.

With the idea of a double housemate playing the game as one, the power to influence the game will totally lie in the hands of subscribers of DStv and lovers of BBNaija as the voting process will be made more accessible.

Again, this season, organisers bring an exciting twist to how fans can win while actively participating by predicting the overall winner as well as lock in their prediction for the winner of the immunity challenge.

Toke Makinwa will return again for another season of The Buzz on Showmax. The popular show, which is an offshoot of the reality show, will see Makinwa further offering in-depth analysis, behind-the-scenes content, and exclusive interviews.

The show again will see housemates, over 15, bracing up for the challenge to remain in the house for 72 days.

The grand prize remains N100 million and it includes a cash prize and an SUV.

The Head of House challenge will no longer be a usual affair as Season Nine will have the Custodian Challenge which will start at 9 pm on Sunday.

Now restyled as the HoH Ballot, the process to select the first HoH will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 29, 2024. This will be followed by the Custodian Lock-In then the Immunity Challenge and nominations.
