Economic hardship: Don’t give up, Adeleke tells entrepreneurs
Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Friday, charged Nigerian entrepreneurs not to give up despite current economic hardship.
He gave this advice while commissioning Dangote Refinery Booking Office at Odo-Ona along Apata in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Adeleke, who confirmed that there was economic hardship in the country, urged them to continue to strive, saying he had once passed through such challenges.
He said, “I was here three months ago, and this place was not properly arranged, especially the ground. I then asked my Aide-De-Camp when we got here today (Friday) that, is it still the same place we came to three months ago? He said, yes because there is a lot of development here. So, I’m using this place as a point of contact to another entrepreneur not to give up despite current economic hardship, try your best and see what you can do.
“I’m a living testimony today because I’m a fighter, and I don’t give up. A goal-getter. Motunrayo is also a goal getter, and that’s why I identified myself with anybody that strives to do something good for society.
“Through this establishment, many people will get employed, so I want to advise our entrepreneurs to keep striving and be determined, they will get there.”
Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of Okay Entertainment Production, Motunrayo Ajeigbe, said the main objective of the booking office was to have a porter whereby investors can monitor how much Dangote refinery trades on a daily basis.
