Olubadan: Oyo advisory council pay homage to Olakulehin

The Oyo State Advisory Council on Friday, May 17, paid courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin at his Alalubosa GRA, Ibadan.

The visit according to leader of the delegation who is also the chairman of the Council, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN) was to greet Olakulehin and see how healthy he was.

In the entorage of Ayorinde was the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Hon. Olayiwola, and Sen. Monsurat Sumonu among others.

Speaking during the visitation, Ayorinde said now that the Council has confirmed that the Olubadan-designate is healthy for the throne, his coronation will begin soon.

He said governor Makinde will also visit Olakulehin as soon as he come back from his travelling. 

He said, “We have the mandate of the governor to pay courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, the governor is not around but he said we should come and pay respect and deliver his message to Baba.

“We have come to greet him and our visitation has meaning.

In his remark, Olakulehin said he is ready to become next Olubadan, saying God is behind him.

He said by God’s grace, he will not disappoint nor failed Ibadanland.

Also in attendance was the Osi Olubadan, Oba Eddy Oyewole, Osi Balogun Olubadan, Oba Gbadamosi Adebimpe, Oba Abiodun KolaDaisi, and the Asipa Olubadan, Oba Kola Adegbola among others.
