MAX donates low-emission bikes to Lagos agency
The management of MAX says it has donated low-emission motorcycles to the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency as part of efforts to support the distribution of registration cards across the state.
At the handover ceremony which took place recently in Lagos, MAX Chief Operating Officer, Tolulope Thomas, emphasised the commitment of Max to supporting government efforts as a way of giving back to the community in which it operates.
According to a statement on Sunday, Thomas stated that MAX is a socially responsible company, saying it “always seeks opportunities to partner with the government towards the good of citizens”.
The General Manager of LASRRA, Bilikiss Adebiyi-Abiola, was said to have expressed excitement about the donation, saying “this will greatly facilitate the distribution of the cards”.
MAX Head of Government Relations, Deji Sobowale, also expressed his pleasure, stating that such gestures were important for an organisation in building the communities in which it operates, as well as fostering an amicable relationship between both organisation.
Founded in 2015, MAX said it has been on a journey to building Africa’s largest mobility-tech platform; saying the company has since provided “mobility entrepreneurs solutions that ensure they are able to do their important work safely, affordably and in a way that minimizes emissions”.
The statement read further, “MAX bridges the credit gap by empowering transport operators to access income-generating assets, develop a verifiable digital credit profile, and gain future growth opportunities. Max is an innovative company that is constantly providing employment opportunities and impact.
“Max offers comprehensive vehicle subscription packages and has two products: MAX Drive and MAX Advantage. MAX Drive is a subscription-to-own service that provides access to finance and ownership for 2, 3, and 4-wheelers – Keke, Okada and cars.
