Ondo 2024: I’m Most Qualified To Govern Ondo – Olusola Oke
Legal icon and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN has indicated his interest to be on the ballot for the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for November this year.
He will be slugging it out with other contestants within the party at the primaries of the APC in April.
He however said that of all the aspirants contesting election in Ondo state, he possessed excelling and requisite experience to provide leadership the state desired.
Mr Oke said he would provide the leadership that would promote unity, engender renewed hope, and drive the state in the path of progress if elected into office.
He said he is one aspirant who knows the state and that his antecedents are like an open book in the hands of the people of the state.
Mr Oke was addressing journalists in Akure, the state capital on Friday, on his governorship ambition.
He said that he has what it takes to be the governor, considering the experience he has acquired in politics and private practice as a successful lawyer.
He noted that experience, competence, and commitment to public good will count in deciding who leads the state, and that is what he possessed.
He said the position of the governor is for one who has the willingness and enablement to serve the people diligently and with all sincerity of heart.
The politician emphasized that his ambition to be the next governor is borne out of the willingness and genuiness to bring a better change to bear in the sunshine state.
Mr Oke contested the last governorship election but lost to the late governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
