NIMET predicts hazy weather in northern region
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has predicted that a sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated over the North and North Central regions of Nigeria on Thursday.
According to NiMET, in the South, inland areas are expected to have sunny skies with patches of clouds, while coastal cities may experience a few clouds in a hazy atmosphere.
The agency made the predictions in its Weather Report released in Abuja on Wednesday.
The report read, “Sunny and hazy atmosphere is anticipated over the North and North Central regions of the country throughout the forecast period
“Sunny skies with patches of clouds are expected over the inland areas of the South during the forecast period while, few clouds in hazy atmosphere is expected over the coastal cities with slim prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Delta, Lagos, Rivers and Bayelsa states during the afternoon/evening period.”
Nimet advises residents and travelers, especially in the coastal regions, to stay updated on local weather reports and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and well-being.
