AAUA Registrar bags Leadership Award
Says Award will motivate him to contribute more to AAUA
Registrar, Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, Olugbenga Arajulu was on Sunday, 17th December, 2023 conferred with the Sunshine Standard Magazine Leadership Award for Excellent Service.
The conferment ceremony took place during the Organisation’s Annual Public Lecture and Awards night which took place at Akure, Ondo State.
In his note of Appreciation, Mr Arajulu during said the rare recognition would further motivate him to contribute more to the development of AAUA in the stride to improve the status of the University as a leading University in Nigeria, “a first class University and 21st University, properly called”
The distinguished University Administrator attributed the award to the genuine love he enjoyed in his resident community, “I feel excited about this award, the honor was bestowed upon me right in the community where I live”, he said.
He added that he is being propelled to contribute more to community development by the prestigious award.. Having been chosen among the few awadees, ” I think this would serve as a motivation to do more in the leadership role
“I pray I would continue to lead by example that would promote Adekunle Ajason University, my community and Ondo State at large”.
Giving his kudos to the organisers for their objectivity in seleco So ting awardees for this year, he started, “The magazine had been on ground for sometime and they are doing quite well in terms of quality content and professionalism. It came as a surprise. when I was informed that I had been nominated as one of the awardees”
The Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators, AAUA Branch, In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary, Charlz Olusa and Kolawole Olaniyan respectively congratulated the Association’s Grand Patron, stating that, “The award is further testimony to the exemplary career of our amiable and distinguished Registrar, a University Administrator per excellence.”
The well-attended ceremony was graced by many dignitaries in Ondo State and other parts of Nigeria.
