NDDC: Ex-Ondo commissioner lauds appointment of Abegunde as NDDC Executive Director
A former Commissioner for Natural Resources in Ondo State, Mr Idowu Otetubi, has congratulated Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde on his appointment as Executive Director, Corporate Services of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Otetubi, a financial expert, commended President Bola Tinubu for considering Abegunde for the appointment.
In a statement issued on Friday in Akure, Ondo State capital, Otetubi described the appointment as well deserved.
“It is a well deserved appointment for Abegunde popularly known as Abena in the political circle.
“He’s known for his tenacity of purpose and steadfastness when he believes in a course.
“Abegunde committed his resources, to canvass for votes for the President during the electioneering process”
“His appointment is a good one for Akure and the state in general”
“I commend the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, for nominating Abegunde, a worthy son of Akure Kingdom and Ondo State”
“He earned the positions through hard work, consistency and long-term experience,” Otetubi said
According to him, he has implicit faith in Abegunde that he will use his wealth of experience to clean up the NDDC for optimum performance.
