National Honour: Otetubi congratulates Akeredolu, Deji of Akure, Faduyile
A former Commissioner for Natural Resources in Ondo State, Honourable Idowu Otetubi has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi who were today honoured with the title of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) and Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CFR) and Former President of Nigeria Medical Association, Professor Dayo Faduyile respectively(OON)
Otetubi said the honour done to the Governor and the paramount ruler of Akure Kingdom, and other Ondo State indigenes is indeed a pride to the State
The former Chairman of Akure Local Government, said the award attests to the patriotism, hardwork and strides in fighting insecurity and Provision of social protection in the last five years in office.
Akeredolu, worried by the spate of insecurity, he championed the establishment of the south west security network code named operation Amotekun to get rid of Kidnapping and other crimes in the state.
Otetubi noted that the award was well deserved, saying the governor is a pride to the entire state.
Otetubi added that Deji of Akure has been at the forefront of advancing peace and fostering unity in the country as well as promoting tourism for sustainable development, through Ulefunta festival and others .
He also applauded Prof. Dayo Faduyile on the conferment of National Honours on him in the rank of the Officer of the Order of the Niger( OON).
He described Faduyile as an erudite scholar and astute administrator. Under his watch, he invested quality time to improve the welfare of Doctors and their working condition by engaging government in regular negotiations and counseling government where and when necessary, rather than engaging in grandstanding and avoidable labour tussle and unrest.
