Former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings is dead.
The longest serving Head of State, JJ ruled from 1981-2001, having taken power briefly in 1979.
He died aged 73 at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital where he’s been on admission for a few days.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
