On Thursday, June 20, about 150 students from the Department of Library and Information Studies visited OPL to learn about information gathering, processing, and archiving.

They were also educated on the process of digitizing news stories, using online and offline tools.

On Friday, June 21, 60 students from the Department of Mass Communication were on a professional visit to the organization.

The excursion was to complement their classroom lessons on newspaper/magazine production with practical experience.

Before the visit, 11 students from the two departments had been on a six-month industrial training at Owena Press Limited.
