APC Chieftain, Adekanmbi pledges support for Gov. Aiyedatiwa says our national leader has given us direction
Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa‘s election received a boost as a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Hon. Femi Adekanmbi pledged his support and promised to work tirelessly for the governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, not only for the primary, but also for the general election
Adekanmbi, a former Commissioner said Mr Governor is destined by God to lead the state at this period.
“Our National leader has directed his us to give him absolute support for both the primary and the general election”
Adekanmbi stated that other aspirants are eminently qualified to lead the state as governor but destiny has placed Lucky ahead of them.
“The governor is doing well, and i am giving him my support to secure a fresh mandate to enable him to continue his development strides.”
I’ve directed all my team members across the state to go all out and work for him.
He added that other governorship aspirants are eminently qualified, such as Chief Olusola Oke, who is a special breed and a superb grassroot politician of note. Mr Wale Akinterinwa, a brilliant, well versed and studious in his professional practice. As a matter of fact, my relationship with Mr Akinterinwa dates back many years and Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, a well knowledgeable, cerebral, accomplished man and a political stratetigist. The same thing applies to Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Assembly, a two term member of the House of Representatives, my very good friend.
“But divine providence made Aiyedatiwa the governor of Ondo State, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.”
According to Adekanmbi, ” Our national leader has directed us to ensure not only his emergence as our candidate but the winner of the general election in November.
“Gov. Aiyedatiwa is a man of uncommon grace. He is favoured by God to lead the state, and he does things that go against the natural order, suspends rules, and goes against an acceptable culture or pattern for his annointed”
He appealed to other aspirants not to see the primary as a war but rather see it as a family affairs where only one person can be elected as our party candidate. He urges all party members to stop the campaign of hatred presently going on among the supporters of the aspirants. We should not be seen fighting ourselves. This primary election should not divide us.
He advised Governor Aiyedatiwa to be cautious of those claiming to love him now.
“Those who have suddenly become his accidental supporters now are those that wanted him impeached before the death of Arakunrin Akeredolu our dear late Governor”
“I urge the governor to continue the good works started by him, and lay down lasting legacy for himself in the state with developmental projects and programmes” the statement read
