Akinrinlola Olumide and His Misguided Advice
AKINRINLOLA OLUMIDE AND HIS MISGUIDED ADVICE
Our attention has been drawn to the sponsored letter purportedly written by one Akinrinlola Olumide, who has been a recent purveyor of fallacious propositions authored by the political detractors of Chief Olusola Oke, SAN.
For whatever it is worth, the political friends and campaign organisation of Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, will like to respond to Olumide’s poisonous advice as follows:
* Chief Olusola Oke is a respected member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and he has made sacrifices to nurture the party through effective political and legal participations.
* Chief Olusola Oke has helped candidates of the APC to win elections across the state, including those in the southern senatorial district, as seen in the one that produced a circumstantial governor in the present occupier of the seat of Alagbaka.
* Chief Olusola Oke’s commitment to lead the people is a longstanding one, and he has sufficient followership in the APC to win both the primary and general elections, given his demonstrable integrity, experience and competence.
* The alternative platform being canvassed for Chief Olusola Oke is manufactured by people who want to gain from the misfortune of the APC, and their antics should not be allowed to fly.
*Caveat Emptor*
As we approach the primary of the APC, we are not unaware of the many intrigues that would be deployed by desperate people to deceive the good people of Ondo State, and we call on our people, particularly distinguished leaders of the APC and teaming members not to allow paid agents distract them from supporting the soaring status of the candidacy of Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, as he remains not just a good brand, but the symbol of the united and prosperous party and state we seek to build.
