With all sense of responsibility, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu’s second term is a done deal. Four years ago, he made a promise to take Ondo State to higher heights. Today, “Mr. Talk and Do”, as being fondly called by all, has kept his promise.

Aketi’s achievements in Office are evident in massive infrastructural maintenance and development that are catalytic to the social and economic growth of our Sunshine State.

His mantra, “Think Anew, Act Anew”, on assumption of office has not only brought about laudable initiatives in the conduct of government business in Ondo State, it has equally engendered a re-orientation and efficiency in government services across all sectors. Little wonder, people call him the architect of new Ondo State!

Akeredolu has made indelible footprints in every nook and cranny of Ondo State. From Ondo North to Ondo Central and to Ondo South, he has transformed the State. Every village, town, city of the state has felt his impacts in terms of development and responses to community needs. As a result, the good citizens of Ondo State are determined to vote him for the second term to enable him complete the good works he has started. Some of the evidence of Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s good works and commitment to infrastructural development are as follows:

1. The Creation of Ondo/Lyin Industrial Hub at Ore: a conglomerate of many industries like thread making factory, lace and ankara production factory, trucks assemblage factory, Cassava to eternol processing factory, Wood to furniture Processing factory etc.

2. Bitumen Exploration at Irele.

3. Construction of Redemption Bridge at Ore to ease traffic gridlock and curtail the incessant accidents identified with Lagos-Benin-Ore express way.

4. Asphalt laying in Okitipupa township roads.

5. Rebuilding and resuscitating the only State University of Technology (Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa, formerly OSUSTECH) that was almost moribund before the inception of Aketi’s Administration.

6. Rejuvenating the Okitipupa Oil Palm Company by paying salaries owed workers by the past government.

7. Construction of Owo – Emure dual carriageway.

8. Construction of Akingbola – SIB road in Akure.

9. Construction of Oba Osupa dual carriageway.

10. Construction of Oke Alabojuto dual carriageway in Ikare.

We can continue to list all the achievements of Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu as Governor of Ondo State in the last three and a half years, but time and space will not permit us here.
